Jazakumallah bikhair for all of you who made du'a and donations for brother Ashraf
Abdalbari. It is with great sadness that we say he has passed away at his home in
Gaza City on January 10, 2009. His last few weeks were spent at home, though not
in comfort as the Israeli's have been assaulting the area.
Please know that all money was sent to his family, and any money that was not
spent on medication will be used for his children.

My wife has a very good friend, Ayda Abdalbari, who is trying desperately to raise
money to save her brother's life. Ashraf Abdalbari is 34 years old, lives in Palestine,
and is fighting brain cancer.
He had surgery in May 2007, but the cancer has returned and he is in need of money
to purchase more of the Temodal medication needed to stop the spread.
Please, if you are able to make a donation, they are in need of $6000.
Mashaa Allah we have already raised $1300 as of 10/27/2008.

Every little bit will help, especially your du'a.
If you are unable to send money, please at least make du'a for this brother.
My wife has known this sister for 4 years, ever since they went to college together
at Kansas State University. This is not a scam, not something we randomly heard
about through the internet, my wife knows the sister personally - they used to be
roommates during college.
If anyone would like proof of this brother's illness, we will be happy to send a copy of
the medical reports to an imam in your community. Due to the great deal of personal
information in these documents, we do not want to just post them online.
We ask for your understanding in helping us maintain the brother's privacy, but as I
said we will share if you require daleel before making a donation.
We will understand, there will be no hard feelings if you want to verify the illness.
At this time, all money donated through this site will be going towards the brother's
medical bills, inshaa Allah.
We will post updates as we have them available, both on our donation level and on
the brother's health, inshaa Allah.
