As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
Our beloved brother in Islaam, Rasheed Gant, needs our help right now. The Gas
company has cut off their Gas due to a reason that was not a fault of his.
A sister has referred his family to the Al-Maun fund and also said she would send out
an email asking all his fellow Muslims for help. Most of this is what she wrote, I am
simply forwarding on as requested.
I also talked to Rasheed, and though he was reluctant to ask for money, I reminded
him that this is the will of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, and if the Muslims can help him
out then that is also the Will of Allah.
We all know the temperatures in Philly right now are very cold and there are children
in the house as well.
The gas has already been turned off so we are asking if the payments can be made
to a Paypal account (whatever you can spare in these hard times insha'Allaah) . The
total bill is $675.00.
Rasheed and his wife do not have a Paypal account, so they are asking that any
money be donated to haneefsalafy@ hotmail.com. That brother will take the money
and give it to Rasheed to pay the bill.

money collected in this account will be sent directly to Rasheed in order to pay the
bill.

They are more than willing to provide proof of the bill that is owed and the reciept of
the bill when it is paid if anyone wants it insha'allaah.

and many many different groups that he moderates and the tremendous amounts of
dawah that he puts forth.
Please let us come together during this time of need for him and help him and his
